Our craft is for the detail devoted. Natural fibers are woven by artists’ hands in the parts of the world where the age-old craft is studied and respected. Every weave is as beautiful as it is unique. Our shades are then hand finished in the Pacific Northwest to your custom requirements. Edges are meticulously sewn, liner is carefully stitched and all products are thoroughly inspected before being delivered to your project. Fashioned by craftsmen, not machines, our window coverings give your room designs warmth, elegance, refinement and a rich story of history and tradition.

OUR FINISHING FACILITY

Our process celebrates the intrinsic beauty of natural materials and the individuality of human touch. That’s true in the remote parts of the world where we weave our materials and it is true in the Pacific Northwest where we finish them. At our finishing facility and corporate headquarters, not only are our products hand made with excruciating precision, but our inability to settle means our team is constantly creating new innovations, delivering to you unique tools to design with.

HAND-FINISHED EDGES

Instead of finishing our edges on the loom overseas, we choose to hand finish them to your requirements in the USA. This is intentional. This sustainable model was developed at our founding over a decade ago. Shipping our weaves by container instead of air freighting individual shades dramatically reduces our carbon footprint. It also enables us to deliver your shades in just 3-4 weeks rather than 12-16 weeks.

COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

It isn’t quaintness. And we are not nostalgic or longing for simpler times thousands of years ago. We create our product by hand because of the genuine quality. Simply put, there’s a difference between cold perfecting and handcrafted refinement. Our approach respects the work and honors the craftsman from the weaves themselves to the finishing details like grommets and edgings. Working by hand frees the imagination. We’re not limited by the machines we have and what they can do. Instead, we continually push the boundaries of design and materials. And you should expect nothing less.
